The Universe has a history

Hubert Reeves (University of Montreal)

Abstract

This is, without doubt, the most important scientific discovery of the 20th century. Contrary to the ancient and long-lasting Aristotelian tenet the universe is neither aeternal nor unchanging. On the contrary it is the seat of profound evolution. The elements of proofs in favour of this view will be given and evaluated.
